I don't know about you but I used to love to climb trees when I was a kid. Today, as a photographer I love to capture kids in their natural element being, kids!

There is no reason for your kids to always be looking at the camera and smiling. In fact, some of the best photographs of kids are the candid ones. Let them be themselves, those are the memories you want to capture with a photo shoot.

Whatever you personally call it, these are FUN FUN FUN! Outdoor kids sports make for great photo shoots and the monkey bars are no exception. The idea is to capture your kids at their happiest being themselves.

A family of three on the beach, Mom and Dad are eager to dip baby's toes in the ocean! This shot is elegant and classic. Exactly what my clients embody.

As Miami natives, we often take for granted the absolute beauty we are surrounded by. It seems like every where you look in this city from Miami Beach to Wynwood to Little Havana there is always somewhere new and exciting to have an on location photo shoot.

These two are like peas in a pod! Best friends 'till the end and incredibly photogenic. This was a fun kids and family photo session for me at Ingraham Terrace Park.

I really encourage families to photograph with pets! It must be because we are pet people but I can't imagine a family portrait session being complete without them. WOOF! 

There is something so incredible about close families that is palpable even in photographs. No matter where I do a photo session, at your house or on location somewhere, when the family is together it's always home.

First communions are such a special time in your child's life and documenting that very special milestone has been a long standing tradition. I take the same magazine quality approach with all my photographs and this first communion portrait was no exception.

I don't know about you but I always wonder what's going on in dog's heads. Here is pic of a very cute little girl with her two furry companions, Giant Schnauzers! They looked like they were talking to each other while taking this family portrait.

I wonder if this little girl has any idea just how cute she is! She was such a pleasure to photograph, what a sweet little toddler! Sometimes backgrounds are not ideal, throwing them out of focus when composing the shot makes for great results and incredible depth of field.

One unique way to spend Mother's Day is on a photoshoot in the park with your daughter! Home from university to spend time with mom on her day, this beautiful daughter and her equally radiant mother decided to take some family portraits to remember this day forever!

What can I say, kids are just fun to be around! I played a little hide and seek with this cutie in white and I caught her a few times as you can see! This turned out to be a great photo session full of laughs and a great vibe from mom and dad!

These two brothers were having a great time at their family portrait session in Miami Beach.  You can clearly see how much they love each other and I was glad I was able to capture those big smiles! Mom and Dad are truly blessed to have such a gorgeous family.

There's a saying "Cousins by blood. Friends by choice." This group of kids are cousins! So many different ages but you can tell they're going to have great times growing up. Portrait sessions give us the opportunity to capture all these family relationships, you really can't put a value on memories like these.

This gorgeous long lashed little boy's portraits were done in the backyard of his family home. I find that sessions photographed at home make the kids feel a little more at ease. They're in their own element and tend to warm up to the camera a bit faster.

Some kids get lost in thought, like this little girl during her portrait session. I would ask her questions and she would just talk and talk like we were old friends. It was adorable!

How cute is this little boy's two-toothed smile? This portrait session was held at his home in Fisher Island. I used indoor spaces as well as the islands outdoor locations to complete his session. He was relaxed and happy!

This blue eyed gorgeous boy! South Pointe Park Peer is a great location for family and kids portrait sessions. The blue waters of Miami Beach really accentuate his blue eyes!

This shot of a little girl sharing cheerios with her pup was for a second birthday portrait session. These photographs will hold a memory your child will want to relive as they get older. It will forever immortalize their bond at this tender age.

Big sister giving little sister a kiss on the cheek! Their parents have been coming to me since the pregnancy of their first little girl. I'm very happy to document how big and beautiful this family is getting every year! This portrait session was a combo birthday shoot in one of the many beautiful parks Miami has to offer!

There's something about a beautiful family in a beautiful location on a beautiful black and white art print. Black and white photography is timeless and classic and will compliment any color scheme or decor in your home.

So many words come to mind when I see this portrait. Wonderment, curiosity, promise, anticipation and determination are just a few. As a child, dreams are vivid and attainable, we should always encourage and build up our children to have their own individual dreams and aspirations. This photo says so much with just her eyes. I say, make all your dreams come true!

Capturing kids in a playground is a plus! They have huge imaginations and everything is an adventure, like this little boy pointing at the dragons from his castle. Sigh! I would love to be a kid again!

Portrait sessions with siblings, in this case, sisters. Big sister is dressed in her ballet recital costume, while little sister looks adoringly at her. These are the moments I aspire to capture for you. Sweet portraits that document the moment of affection and tenderness between family members.

I often get asked "what do we wear?" It's important to get the wardrobe that's right for the session, but most importantly, it should be comfortable! Cotton is ideal for our warm Miami weather. Solid colors are preferred, but if you want to add some texture and pattern, please do so! Just make sure they're subtle so they don't compete with the stars of the day!

This portrait is one of my favorites. Little girl showing off her gallery wall full of art. Dad asks her questions on her techniques and inspiration for these masterpieces, and she answers every question very eloquently.

This kid will no doubt one day become a famous professional golf player. Look at that form, eye on the ball, straight arms and perfect stance. The best part is that this glorious golf course is his back yard, and he completely loves the sport! 

I love to photograph baby and Dad. You can see how proud Daddy is and you can see how safe and stable the little boy feels. I know first hand how important it is to have family portraits in hand. I often look back at old photographs and it makes me happy. I would like the same for all my clients.
